It has happened. Last night, as promised, Kayne West live streamed his brand new album YE! The album was revealed on the WAV app (unfortunately, the steam is now over), however, it is not yet available for download and has not officially been released.
When Kayne West released his last album two years ago, it was completely exclusive to Tidal initially. The rapper even claimed it would never be available on other platforms, however, after two months it was available on Apple Music. It has now been announced that his latest album will be available on Apple Music as soon as it is released.
The album will not be exclusive to Apple Music either, however, and is likely that ‘Love Everyone’ also be available on Spotify, Tidal and other streaming platforms. While West’s ‘The Life of Pablo’ album was exclusive on Tidal for two months initially, since then West’s relationship with Jay-Z has been somewhat difficult. West accused Tidal of owning him more than $3 million following the success of the album.
