According to a new survey, Apple’s devices are becoming an increasingly popular choice for enterprise employees allowed to choose their own equipment.

Of the 52% of enterprise organizations that let employees choose their own computers, 72% chose a Mac over a PC. As for mobile devices, of the 49% of enterprise organizations that let employees choose their own, 75% choose an iPhone or iPad over an Android alternative.

So many organizations are allowing employees to choose their own devices as this is thought to increase productivity. 68% of the 580 executives, managers and IT professionals questions across the world agree and 77% even commented that having a choice would make them more likely to stay with a company who offers this.

Dean Hager, CEO at Jamf commented:

“When it comes to attracting and retaining top talent in the enterprise, the job landscape is more competitive than ever…and, with the highest global talent shortage in 10 years, it’s no wonder that a major priority for enterprise organizations is to create the ultimate employee experience. When employers combine the freedom of technology choice with Apple, the results are stronger employee retention, productivity and job satisfaction.”

Do you agree that choosing your own device would make you more productive?
