AlwaysOnline Wireless Offering Roaming LTE Plans for iPads

Owners of cellular iPads with Apple SIM can now make use of short term data plans from AlwaysOnline Wireless, which provides a roaming LTE network in over 45 countries.

With the Apple SIM introduced last year to ease choosing between different cellular carriers, iPad owners can, when in any of these countries, view and choose from these plans directly on their devices, thus avoiding the need to buy a local SIM. The plans are available for the cellular iPad Air 2, iPad Pro, iPad Mini 3 and iPad Mini 4 models.

Some of these plans from AlwaysOnline Wireless, which is owned by the Canada-based Otono Networks, offer connectivity from as little as $0.99 and lasting as short as an hour, allowing for very flexible and cost-effective use of LTE when traveling.

The full list of countries in which these plans can be selected and used, which includes Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Russia, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Israel and Saudi Arabia, can be seen on the AlwaysOnline Wireless website. Nonetheless, the plans will not actually be able to residents of most of the countries listed.
