Amazon Prime Price Getting 20% Cut – But Only This Friday

New Amazon-exclusive TV series The Grand Tour, starring former Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, will launch this Friday. And, to mark that occasion, Amazon is discounting the usual price of its Prime subscription service by 20%.

On the same day that the first episode of The Grand Tour premieres on Amazon Prime Video, the new discount will be on offer from 12:00am Eastern Time until 11:59pm Pacific Time. The cut price will be $79 for a year’s membership – that’s compared to the usual $99 charge.

Prime membership provides access to Prime Video, the on-demand service offering thousands of films and TV shows, including Amazon-made content like Transparent and The Man in the High Castle. Prime members can also stream from over two million songs with Prime Music, benefit from speedy free shipping of items ordered from Amazon, and enjoy various other goodies.

To take advantage of the discount, you can sign up at www.amazon.com/thegrandtourprime this Friday. New The Grand Tour episodes will arrive weekly over a 12-week period.
