It was a long time coming, but the Apple Music app has finally dropped its beta status on Android, getting a full release and a number of other minor tweaks on Google’s mobile operating system.

Indeed, along with many features from the iOS app, including the option to stream from the huge iTunes library of songs, the Android version brings use of unique functionality of the OS. Android-only features include a widget through which Apple Music playback can be controlled from the home screen and the ability to save tracks to an SD card for offline listening.
The Android version of Apple Music can be downloaded for free from Google Play, though a subscription to the streaming service costs $9.99 per month once the three-month free trial has expired.
