The annual Apple Music Festival is no more

It has been confirmed that Apple Music Festival, or iTunes Festival as it was known before 2015, has ended after a decade-long run.

This free annual concert saw big name artists such as Elton John, Ozzy Osbourne, Coldplay, Justin Timberlake, Pharrell Williams and Usher performing at the Roundhouse in London.Ā The Festival’s performances were broadcast live on Apple Music from 2015 and UK residents could apply to win tickets through various media partners.

Other notable performers over the festival’s history included Amy Winehouse, John Legend, Snow Patrol, David Guetta, Paul Simon, Calvin Harris, Ellie Goulding, Jack Johnson, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Linkin Park, Arctic Monkeys, Paramore, Alicia Keys, Adele, Bruno Mars, Kings of Leon, and Ed Sheeran.

Emails have already been sent out by the Roundhouse to confirm that the Festival will not be going ahead in 2017. Apple have not yet commented on why the Festival has ended nor on the possibility of returning it in 2018.
