Apple accidentally leaks new Beats Studio Buds in iOS 14.6 code

Apple has accidentally leaked a new AirPods-style product from its Beats brand.

As first reported by MacRumors, the Cupertino company has been working on Beats Studio Buds, which is Apple’s take on Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro.

Unlike the Powerbeats Pro or the Powerbeats, the new earbuds don’t feature a wire and adopt a style more commonly seen from Google and Samsung, offering Apple yet another slice of the wireless earbud market.

According to the leaked images, the new earbuds will be sold in a number of color options, such as black, white, and red, and they’ll feature an oval-shaped charging case similar to that of Google’s and Samsung’s.

The design looks similar to what we have been expecting from the second-generation AirPods Pro, and indeed the third-generation AirPods.

It had been rumored that Apple would drop new AirPods alongside the announcement of an enhanced Apple Music, but as of yet, that hasn’t happened, so we await further information and anticipate a release shortly.
