Apple Announces 4-Inch iPhone SE with Live Photos, Apple Pay

Apple has announced the 4-inch iPhone SE, which comes with the powerful A9 chip and M9 co-processor, Live Photos feature and Apple Pay functionality – and all priced from just $399.

At the “Let us loop you in” event at its Cupertino campus today, Apple revealed what it claims is the most powerful 4-inch smartphone in the world. The device also comes with advanced camera features, including a 12-megapixel back shooter and 4K video shooting.

Ultimately, the iPhone SE comes with many of the sophisticated features present in the flagship iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus – including the choice of a rose gold color alongside the usual space grey, silver and gold variants.

Pricing will start at $399 for the 16GB model, while a 64GB model will also be on offer for $499. Orders for the iPhone SE will open on March 24, with shipping beginning on March 31.
