Apple announces long-awaited AirTags tracking devices at its ‘Spring Loaded’ special event

AirTags

The company has been long-rumored to launch its own competitor to Tile, offering consumers a way to track their items such as their wallet, car keys, and other accessories on the go.

Now, the new device bridges the gap, offering seamless integration with iOS and ‘Find My‘.

Then, when they want to find something like their keys, wallet, or children’s teddy bear, they can open their ‘Find My’ app to locate it.

Consumers can purchase AirTags, priced at $29 in the United States for one, and $99 for a family pack, and connect them to their iOS devices.

Apple demonstrated a stunning new augmented reality user interface as part of the Find My app, designed to make it easier than ever to locate lost or misplaced items in your home.

The new tags are the latest product to be added to Apple’s growing wearables division, offering consumers up-to-the-minute functionality to make their lives easier and more enjoyable.
