Apple has announced plans to bring Amazon Prime Video to Apple TV.

Live from the WWDC 2017 conference, Tim Cook took to the stage to announce that the video streaming service, which rivals Netflix, would arrive on Apple TV this summer.

The move first rumored a couple of weeks ago, with Apple and Amazon reaching an agreement on splitting subscription fees. The rumor also reported that the Apple TV would return to Amazon.com, after being removed from the online retailer in a bid to drive sales of Amazon’s own TV streaming devices.

As of December 2016, Amazon Prime Video is available around the world, expanding from its previous locations in the US, UK, Germany, Austria and Japan.
