Apple Announces the Launch of 15-inch MacBook Air At today's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2023 event, Apple officially announced the launch of the much-anticipated 15-inch MacBook Air.

MacBook Air 15 Inch

Claimed to be the world’s thinnest 15-inch laptop, this new model is powered by the M2 chip, the same as the 13-inch MacBook, and boasts an impressive battery life of 18 hours. The MacBook Air, known as the world’s best-selling laptop, is anticipated to strengthen its lead with this 15-inch model.

The laptop includes a MagSafe connector for charging, two Thunderbolt ports, and a headphone jack. The 15-inch MacBook Air features a 15.3-inch screen with 5mm bezels, a 1080p camera, and six speakers. Apple says it is 40% thinner and half a pound lighter than the average 15-inch PC.

Orders for the 15-inch MacBook Air, priced at $1299, can be placed from today, while the 13-inch M2 MacBook Air’s price is reduced to $1199. The M1 MacBook Air remains in the lineup at $999.

The 15-inch MacBook Air, available in midnight, starlight, silver, and space gray, will start reaching customers next week.
