Apple announces watchOS 6, introducing more refinements to Apple Watch

Three large Apple Watch screens are shown: one displaying the App Store with the Nike Run Club app, another showing search and trending options, and the third featuring the MLB At Bat app with ratings and age information.

Apple has offered a first look at watchOS 6, introducing new features designed to empower users to “better manage their health and fitness.”

Speaking of the new release, Jeff Williams, Apple’s chief operating officer, said: “Apple Watch has become an indispensable part of our customers’ everyday lives, from helping users stay connected to the people and information they care about, to inspiring them to live a better and more active day.

“watchOS 6 extends our commitment to helping users better manage their health and fitness with powerful and personal new tools.”
