Apple has confirmed that its next WWDC will take place virtually, from June 7 to June 11.
The company’s 32nd annual event will be held online due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and as usual, Apple’s invitation has sparked discussion and debate, with some believing the fact every character in the poster was wearing glasses could mean Apple’s long-awaited augmented reality glasses could be coming sooner rather than later.
Crazy that Apple leaked the exact design of its AR glasses https://t.co/Ar2jQN3hCZ

Unlike physical Worldwide Developer Conferences, Apple has dropped the $1,599 attendance fee, and this year’s event will be free to all developers. As it did last year, the firm will host virtual sessions dedicated to iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS app development.
The event will be the first of the year for Apple, and considering the fact the company typically releases new products at showcases in March, Apple could decide to double-up and introduce new hardware as well as software at this year’s event. Long-awaited new products include new AirPods, AirTags, as well as M1-powered MacBooks and iMacs.
We’ll also hear about the next-generation of iOS, macOS, tvOS, iPadOS, and watchOS, too.
