Apple has announced a new yellow version of its iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus.

As speculated about online, Apple announced a new Yellow color option along with four new Silicone Case colors via a press release on the Apple website. It’s common for the company to announce a new mid-cycle color refresh of the entry-level iPhone, but this is the first time that Apple has launched a new variant of the iPhone Plus, which was only announced in September.

Speaking of the news, Bob Borchers, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, said: “People love their iPhone and rely on it every day for all that they do, and now there’s an exciting addition to the lineup with a new yellow iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. The extraordinary battery life, lightweight design, pro-level camera and video features, groundbreaking safety capabilities like Emergency SOS via satellite, and all iOS 16 has to offer make iPhone 14 a great option for anyone in the market for a new iPhone.”

The new Yellow color option will join the existing Midnight, Starlight, (PRODUCT)RED, Blue, and Purple color choices. The last time Apple offered a Yellow iPhone was in 2019 with the iPhone 11, which came one year after the Yellow iPhone XR.

Last March, Apple introduced a new Green color for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini, as well as an Alpine Green color for the iPhone 13 Pro models.

In April 2021, Apple made the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini available in Purple.

Furthermore, Apple also announced four new colors for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus Silicone Cases, which includes Canary Yellow, Olive, Sky, and Iris.
