Apple April 20 event: What you need to know

Apple event

Apple will reportedly host an event next week (April 20) to reveal new hardware.

As first reported on 9to5Mac, Siri has accidentally revealed Apple’s next event date. When you ask Siri when the next Apple event will be, it responds that the company is planning to host an event on Tuesday, April 20. It had previously been teased that Apple is working on a new range of Macs, as well as a refresh of its iPad range, as well as its AirTags trackers.

Siri suggests that Apple will host its event at Apple Park in Cupertino, California.

As per previous Apple events held during the coronavirus pandemic, it’s likely that this one will be pre-recorded and shown online, without media in attendance to reduce the spread.

If the April 20 date is true, Apple will likely officially announce the event later today.
