Apple has announced that the Apple Card has claimed the top spot as the “Best Co-Branded Credit Card for Customer Satisfaction with No Annual Fee” in the latest J.D. Power 2023 U.S. Credit Card Satisfaction Study. This marks the third consecutive year that the collaboration between Apple and Goldman Sachs has earned this prestigious ranking, demonstrating their ongoing commitment to customer satisfaction.

Apple’s Vice President of Apple Pay and Apple Wallet, Jennifer Bailey, expressed the company’s honor in receiving the recognition. She commented: “Since the start, we’ve been committed to delivering tools and services that help users live healthier financial lives, and it’s been rewarding to see customers using and finding value in the benefits of ‌Apple Card‌.”

The recent launch of Savings is one of the ways Apple, along with Goldman Sachs, is continuing to enhance the value users receive from the Apple Card. Both companies are focused on developing additional tools and services that prioritize users’ financial well-being.

The Apple Card scored an impressive 655 on the J.D. Power scale, surpassing competing cards such as the Hilton Honors American Express Card (638), the Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature Card (636), and the PayPal Cashback Mastercard (636).

Interestingly, this year’s top ranking arrives amid rumors that Goldman Sachs may be looking to exit its partnership with Apple. Reports suggest that Goldman Sachs is contemplating a move away from consumer banking, potentially seeking a new partner to take over the Apple Card and Apple Savings offerings. The future of the partnership between Goldman Sachs and Apple remains uncertain, and it is unclear whether they will be able to negotiate a deal to end their relationship.

Despite these uncertainties, the repeated accolades for the Apple Card emphasize its popularity and the successful collaboration between Apple and Goldman Sachs.

The award reflects both companies’ strong commitment to providing quality financial products that resonate with their customer bases.
