Apple Card: Users to Get New High-Yield Savings Account Option

Apple Card

Apple has exciting news for its users who own Apple Card. The tech giant is gearing up to release a new feature in the form of a high-yield savings account. This option was announced in October, but no additional details were released until the code was found in the iOS 16.4 beta. This code lays the groundwork for the feature, which could be available alongside the iOS 16.4 release.

The code found in iOS 16.4 includes several references to account management features such as routing and account numbers, current balance, interest earned, data management, funds available for withdrawal, and more. With all these features in place, it is clear that Apple is putting a great deal of effort into ensuring that its users get the best possible experience when it comes to managing their money.

To encourage customers to sign up for this new feature, Apple plans to provide a message that says, “Transfer your Apple Cash balance to your savings account and start earning interest today.” This message will also inform users that they can transfer up to a certain amount of money from Apple Cash to their savings account in a single transaction.

Just like the Apple Card, the high-yield savings account will be offered through Goldman Sachs. Users will be able to opt-in to having their Daily Cash deposited automatically so that it can earn interest. This will be a welcome feature for many users who are looking for an easy way to make their money work for them.

Although Apple has not yet provided the APR for the savings account, it is clear that the company is committed to providing a high-quality experience for its users. With this new feature, users will be able to manage their savings and Daily Cash through the Wallet app, making it a one-stop-shop for all their financial needs.

With the ability to manage both savings and Daily Cash in one app, this feature is sure to be a hit with Apple Card users. While we wait for the official launch of this feature, we can only hope that Apple continues to innovate and provide new and exciting features.
