Apple celebrated at the Pride Parade yesterday in San Francisco as part of its longstanding support of the LGBQT community.
Employees donned Pride themed t-shirts emblazoned with rainbow Apple logos alongside CEO Tim Cook, environmental chief Lisa Jackson, and health and fitness director Jay Blahnik.
The video of Apple at this year’s celebration is yet to be released, but employees and bystanders have shared numerous posts on social media about the company’s participation. One user claimed that there were around 1,000 people in the Apple section of the parade, with Tim Cook mingling among employees and Apple fans.

Apple also had a dedicated area at One Market Plaza where people could leave their signature or a message, take Animoji photos, and more.

Apple hasn’t shied away from celebrating Pride this month, introducing a new Pride-themed Apple Watch band and watch face at WWDC 18. The company has also protected laws that protect LGBQT rights and strongly opposes laws that discriminate. Tim Cook has even been honored for his efforts pertaining to social issues revolving around the LGBQT community.
