Apple coming to South Park

A cartoon-style image of an Apple Store facade in a scene reminiscent of South Park. Flanked by a fast-food restaurant on the left and another retail store on the right, it features a large Apple logo above its entrance. Inside, people are seen interacting with products and displays. Mountains are visible in the background.

Not the series, the city in North Carolina

You know what suckers we are for impeccibly designed, clean and spacious Apple retail stores and the new one opening in South Park, Charlotte, NC is another great example.

If you’re in Hornets country then get down to the grand reopening at 11:00am on Sunday 2nd September.

Come on down to South Park

After a gruelling four months of renovation work the store is ready to come online. The original Apple store in South Park was opened in 2004 but had to move a new and expanded location due to demand and range available in 2013. It’s unusual for a store so new to get an upgrade but Charlotte is a tech hub so there will be a large demand for Apple products and services nearby which is why they have prioritised the upgrade.

The store has been closed since April 22nd and similar sized mall stores in Tennessee, Texas and Washington have all completed similar renovations.

On the same day another Apple store in Waterside, Naples, Florida will be closing temporarily to allow a similar upgrade and update program. Experienced Apple watchers predict that the layouts will be similar to the brand new Orland Park store in Illinois, south west of Chicago.
