Apple has confirmed plans to launch Apple TV+ on November 1.
The company announced that the āfirst all-original video subscription service and home for todayās most imaginative storytellersā will arrive in more than 100 countries around the world, priced at just $4.99 for the whole family.
Apple also confirmed that anyone who purchases an iPad, Apple TV, MacBook or iPhone will receive a year of Apple TV+ for free, which will no doubt inflate the firmās subscription counts.
With shows such as āThe Morning Show,ā āDickinson,ā āSee,ā āFor All Mankindā and āThe Elephant Queenā expected at launch, Apple TV+ will be available on a whole host of platforms including the new Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, iPod touch, Mac, as well as online on a new dedicated website, tv.apple.com.

Apple TV+ subscribers will be able to watch Apple TV+ originals both online and offline, ad-free and on-demand, and the Apple TV app will soon be available on Samsung smart TVs, and will come to Amazon Fire TV, LG, Roku, Sony and VIZIO platforms in the future, offering more ways to watch content on your favorite devices – and allowing Apple to compete with the likes of Netflix and Amazon Prime.
