Apple expected to bring Dynamic Island to iPhone 15 range

Apple is reportedly planning to bring Dynamic Island to its iPhone 15 range.

The company will likely follow up 2022’s iPhone 14 family with the iPhone 15 range, keeping the standard, Plus, Pro, and Pro Max variants. However, the current Dynamic Island feature, which is exclusive to the 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, will be installed across the entire iPhone range following its initial success.

According to an insider, Apple will add Dynamic Island to the standard models but won’t feature advanced technology such as an LTPO display, ProMotion support, or an always-on display due to cost reasons.

Apple introduced Dynamic Island earlier this month to serve as a successor to the controversial notch on the iPhone, and rather than a pill and hole-punch cut-out, the company has turned it into a single ‘island’ that can dynamically change and adjust the different apps, notifications, and functionality.

Indeed, alerts like phone calls, Face ID authentication, and Maps automatically adjust Dynamic Island.
