Apple fixes iPhone 14 Pro camera shaking with iOS 16.0.2

Apple has fixed the shaking camera issue with the iPhone 14 Pro.

The rear camera’s primary lens would vibrate uncontrollably in third-party apps with camera functionality such as TikTok and Instagram, resulting in shaky video footage on the device. Eary adopters of the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max had been taking to websites like Reddit and Twitter to report the issue.

Apple added a new second-generation sensor-shift optical image stabilization feature to the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max models, and it’s likely that it was a software bug with the stabilizer. With iOS 16.0.2, Apple has reportedly fixed the shaky camera.

There are additional fixes for the “allow paste” pop-up bug plaguing users.

Users should head to their Settings app, click on General, and then Software Update and allow the update to install. For most users, the update will automatically install overnight.
