Apple gives its Apple ID website an overhaul

Apple has given its Apple ID website an overhaul, introducing a more modern and understated look.

The new website features the Apple logo with a colorful circular border, and introduces the tagline “One account for everything Apple,” with the new microsite explaining why users should sign up for an Apple ID and the benefits it can bring, including easy access to music, the Apple Store, your credit card details, and much more.

Apple previously had a graphics-heavy design on its Apple ID website, but has appeared to simplify the page with a straightforward design that gets to the point. As the website reads, you’re in control with an Apple ID. “Review or update important information like your name, password, and security details. See how others can reach you, check your payment information, and manage the devices connected to your account,” Apple writes.

Privacy and security are built in. With account security features like two-factor authentication, Apple helps keep your account secure, protects your privacy, and keeps you in control of your information,” the site goes on to say.

The new design extends to when you log into your Apple ID, with a sidebar that offers easy access to managing your sign-in access and security details, as well as payment methods, privacy, Family Sharing, devices, and more.
