Apple and the high-end French brand Hermès have been in partnership since launching their first Apple watch way back in 2015. The collaboration’s latest Spring collection represents another example of what can be achieved at the junction of technology and fashion. Not just reliable and functional, the luxury collection is also easy on the eye.
At the forefront of the latest arrivals is the AirTag line. The stylish tag will be particularly appreciated by those who frequently misplace their personal belongings. The high-fashion wireless tracker can be attached to easy to lose items such as keys. In addition, it can be tracked using Apple’s Find My App on an iPhone.
Made from Barénia calfskin or Swift calfskin, the line includes not just a key ring, but also a bag charm, a travel tag, and a luggage tag. The stylish designs pay homage to Hermès’ early 20th-century horse racing token holders.
The next stars of the collection are Hermès cases for iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro. Crafted from Barénia calfskin, the brown cases are soft to the touch and have been specifically designed to develop a patina with time, says Bethany Johnson from stylespring. “As a motif, the cases feature the ribbon that usually comes around Hermès packaged boxes.”
Another offering in the collection is the Apple Watch Hermès, which comes with a water-resistant Jumping series band with a woven H Vibration design. Meanwhile, “the buckle recalls those on the straps of a saddle, and the Attelage connection to the case is another nod to the equestrian heritage of Hermès,” states Apple’s website.
The band comes in five color combos including: Kraft and Rouge de Coeur, Bleu Saphir and Orange, Noir and Bleu Saphir, Rouge de Coeur and Rouge H, and Orange and Rose Mexico. The watch itself comes in two sizes: 40 and 44 mm.
