Apple Hiring Staff for New Stores in Turkey and Brazil

Some new job listings that have appeared on Apple’s website hint that the company is continuing to expand its retail presence internationally. These new jobs are located in Turkey and Brazil respectively and include positions like managers, geniuses, specialists, and clerks. These positions suggest that Apple is opening a variety of brand new retail outlets, but there isn’t any indication of how many stores will open in these countries in the near future. You can see the full list of jobs available in the employment section of Apple’s website.

This recent news comes on the heels of Apple’s ambitious plan to open up more retail locations worldwide. The Cupertino company is planning to open over 30 stores globally, although there hasn’t been word of a specific plan or map that details where those stores will go. The tech giant is attempting to appeal more to international buyers, specifically in areas where Apple products seem to succeed. Brazil is one such location, and although Turkey doesn’t seem like one of Apple’s biggest customers, it obviously has the size and demographic to appeal to the company’s retail strategy.

Apple’s most recent global endeavor included placement of their first Apple store in Sweden. It will be interesting to see where Apple goes next and what areas it sees as potential moneymakers. I am sure we will continue to see stores added to countries that already carry Apple products, but I’m interested to see where the company decides to pioneer next.
