Apple launches Apple Music Sing in time for holiday season

Apple has announced a new interactive game for the Apple Music platform.

Apple Music Sing is a new feature that allows users to enjoy their favorite songs from a wide range of artists with adjustable vocals, allowing them to sing alongside iconic hits and albums.

‌The new feature, which launches just in time for the holiday season, takes advantage of Apple Music‌’s real-time lyrics and offers adjustable vocals as well as background vocals, and a duet mode so more than one person can sing the same song.

Speaking of the service, Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Apple Music and Beats, said: “Apple Music’s lyrics experience is consistently one of the most popular features on our service.

“We already know our users all over the world love to follow along to their favorite songs, so we wanted to evolve this offering even further to enable even more engagement around music through singing. It’s really a lot of fun, our customers are going to love it.”

Apple says that the new feature will launch alongside “a suite of more than 50 dedicated companion playlists” featuring “epic songs, duets, choruses, and anthems that have been compelling people all around the world to sing.”

‌Apple Music‌ Sing will work across iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS, and launch for free later this month.
