Apple has announced a new Mac Upgrade Program for small businesses.
The company’s new scheme is designed to allow businesses to distribute and upgrade their MacBook models every year, at an affordable price. In association with CIT as a finance partner in the United States, the new scheme will give businesses the chance to upgrade their MacBooks and pay a small monthly amount for each of them.
Apple Business Partners can buy the 13-inch MacBook Pro, 13-inch MacBook Air, 14-inch MacBook Pro, and 16-inch MacBook Pro for their employees for just 3% of the cost of the device as monthly instalments, meaning a once prohibitively expensive upgrade can now be spread over several years. to improve cashflows and lower the costs of new machines.
Apple will sell the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models for $60 and $75 respectively, and the 13-inch MacBook Pro and MacBook Air are available for $30 and $39 per month. Apple isn’t offering an iMac or Mac mini as part of the deal.
Details on the new scheme are scarce right now, but the CIT site says that the scheme is open to small businesses, and if they are approved, Apple will process and ship the orders as if you’d purchased them directly from the company.
