Apple Music student membership expands to over 80 new markets

Apple has announced that it is expanding the availability of it’s Apple Music student membership to as many as 82 new regions this month.

It’s now available in 79 additional markets, with a further expansion to three more regions on 26th February. These new markets include Israel, Poland, Portugal, the Philippines, Malaysia and Taiwan.

Apple Music’s student membership offers eligible students a discounted price on their monthly subscription. While the price varies by country, it allows students in the U.S. to subscribe for as little as $4.99 per month. This discount is available for 48 months and is verified by UNiDAYS.

The company is yet to confirm the full list of 82 countries but touts that it will be available in almost all countries where Apple Music is available. The feature availability webpage should be updated soon to confirm this so if you’re a student, why not go and see if you’re eligible…
