Apple is offering students a free pair of Beats Flex earphones.
The company is currently running its back-to-school offer, and rather than giving away free Beats headphones or AirPods, this year, Apple’s giving away gift cards to be used on other Apple products or software. Alongside this new deal, students can now claim a free pair of Beats Flex earphones if they subscribe to Apple Music for the first time.
Available to all new student subscribers, the deal runs in both the United States and the United Kingdom and allows students to claim free Beats Flex earphones. They must never have subscribed to Apple Music before, and they’ll need to be taking a degree or higher education course, which must be verified through a third-party partner.
Once subscribers have made their first monthly payment for Apple Music, Apple will send them an email with instructions on redeeming their free earphones.
The product must then be redeemed within 90 days of receipt, or they’ll no longer be eligible for the offer.
The news comes at the same time as Apple increased its prices for Apple Music in the United Kingdom and the United States from Ā£4.99 and $4.99 respectively to Ā£5.99 and $5.99 respectively.
