WWDC 2018 will run from June 4th to June 8th and, throughout the week, will involve developer’s sessions on Apple’s latest platform technology. The opening keynote is where Apple debuts its latest platform changes.
So, what’s expected? Improvements to iOS 12, macOS 10.14, tvOS 12, watchOS 5, and potential tweaks to Siri and HomePod have all been rumored. Apple also typically uses these keynotes to release developer betas of new iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple TV software the same day, followed by public beta versions a few weeks later and final releases later in September.
The WWDC keynote last year saw the launch of the new MacBook Pros and iMacs as well as the preview of the iMac Pro and HomePod. This year’s hardware expectations include the likes of the slim Retina 13-inch MacBook that’s rumored to be released later in the year.
Apple has also confirmed that it will be offering a live stream of the event so you can tune in and be one of the first to know about the company’s latest tech.
