Apple Park Visitor Center opens to the public

The Apple Park Visitor Center has officially opened in Cupertino.

The new center, which features stunning staircases, stone walls and terrazzo floors, is welcoming visitors, neighbors and guests from the area to experience some of Apple Park’s innovations.

The center’s cantilevered carbon fiber roof features a unique “floating” design, supported only by stone clad cores, creating an attractive futuristic appearance.

Designed by Foster + Partners, the center was created to complement the remainder of the campus, serving as an “extension” of the architecture of the main building.

As well as becoming Apple’s latest fully-fledged Apple Store (where better to buy a brand new iPhone than meters from the designers themselves!?), the new Center has a café, and is selling limited edition hats, t-shirts, tote bags, postcards, and children’s onesies. Pick up some exclusive merchandise if you’re in the area to show off the fact you’re one of the first to experience one of Apple’s most celebrated Stores in its history.
