Apple parodies The Little Mermaid in unreleased iPad Pro video

A new iPad Pro advertisement has been revealed online, despite Apple not publicly making the clip available.

In an unlisted YouTube video, which suggests that the company decided against releasing it – or plans to release it in the coming days or weeks – Apple is seen promoting its new iPad Pro with the now-infamous ‘Your next computer is not a computer’ tagline. The company parodies Part of Your World from The Little Mermaid.

Apple uploaded the video on June 3, before this year’s WWDC 2021, and it was found by a Twitter user.

In the ad spot, we’re introduced to different situations where cable management and office admin are the norms, and others are seen enjoying their new iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard in the sun. In the description of the video, Apple says: “iPad has everything you need to work, learn, create and play with complete freedom. Big immersive retina displays, available cellular connectivity, and incredible battery life, all in thin and light designs. And with the new iPad Pro supercharged by the Apple M1 chip, there’s an iPad for anyone and anything.”

The new ad was likely created to promote gaming on the new iPad Pro with M1, as well as editing videos, and showing off the all-day battery life. We don’t know for certain why Apple hasn’t shared this advertisement yet, or whether it will at all, but you can enjoy the video in full below – share it with your friends and let us know what you think!
