One of Apple’s first ventures into original media content, Carpool Karaoke: The Series, is well underway. The company has updated its YouTube portal with new trailers for episodes, with stars including Miley Cyrus and Queen Latifah, set to air exclusively for Apple Music users next week.
Cyrus and family members – father Billy Ray, sister Noah, mother Tish, brother Braison, sister Brandy and brother Trace – star in one of the trailers. They have a good go at singing well-known songs from Miley herself before setting off for what is implied to be a “professional family photo”.

The other trailer puts the spotlight on Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett Smith. Of course, the former is already renowned for her musical prowess, and we see it again as she and her colleague in the car sing Janet Jackson and – yes – Queen Latifah songs. They are later joined by Tiffany Haddish and Regina Hall, their co-stars in this summer’s theatrical comedy hit Girls Trip.
Don’t worry if you are a little late to the Carpool Karaoke: The Series party, as all of the episodes can still be watched on Apple Music. Game of Thrones actresses Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner, Family Guy maker Seth McFarlane and acting legend Will Smith have been among the stars so far.
