Apple reclosing dozens of US Apple Stores due to COVID-19 outbreaks More stores are closing due to the coronavirus pandemic.

A multi-story Apple Store in the US features a large illuminated Apple logo on the facade. The building has a glass exterior, offering a clear view of the interior bustling with people, despite recent COVID-19 outbreaks. Flower-hanging streetlights and bike racks adorn the sidewalk in front of the store.

Apple has begun reclosing many of its retail stores in the United States due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with some states seeing a significant spike in cases in recent weeks.Ā

The latest announcement sees fourteen of its retail outlets in Florida close, joining Arizona, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas.

Speaking of the store closures, Apple said: ā€œDue to current Covid-19 conditions in some of the communities we serve, we are temporarily closing stores in these areas.

ā€œWe take this step with an abundance of caution as we closely monitor the situation and we look forward to having our teams and customers back as soon as possible.ā€

Alongside Waterside Shops in Naples and Coconut Point in Estero, Apple has closed Altamonte in Altamonte Springs, Aventura in Aventura, Boca Raton in Boca Raton, Brandon in Brandon, The Galleria in Fort Lauderdale, Lincoln Road in Miami Beach, and Brickell City Centre in Miami.

Thatā€™s in addition to Dadeland in Miami, The Falls in Miami, Florida Mall in Orlando, Millenia in Orlando, The Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens, International Plaza in Tampa, and Wellington Green in Wellington.

Other locations that are temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic include Baybrook in Friendswood, First Colony Mall in Sugar Land, Highland Village in Houston, Houston Galleria in Houston, Memorial City in Houston, Willowbrook Mall in Houston, and The Woodlands. Arizona stores closing include those at Chandler Fashion Center, Scottsdale Fashion Square, Arrowhead, SanTan Village, Scottsdale Quarter, and La Encantada.

It is hoped that such locations will be able to reopen in the coming weeks as spikes of the infection decrease and further social distancing measures are put into place to protect locals.
