Apple has registered seven new iPads and eight new Apple Watch models on the Eurasian Economic Commission, suggesting that new products are set to launch imminently.Â
It’s widely expected that Apple will announce the Apple Watch Series 6 – in a range of variations – and new iPad models next month at its upcoming September event.
The new filings with the Eurasian Economic Commission’s regulatory database suggest that this will be a bumper year for iPad and Apple Watch, with the company perhaps launching the long-awaited Apple Watch Kids as well as refreshing its entire iPad lineup with better specs.
Apple doesn’t offer any specifics on the EEC listings, but each new product has its own identification number. A2291, A2292, A2351, A2352, A2375, A2376, A2355, and A2356 have been registered under the Apple Watch Series 6 moniker, presumably different size, and color combinations of the upcoming smartwatch.
New iPad models registered include A2270, A2072, A2316, A2324, A2325, A2428, and A2429, though Apple didn’t specify which type of iPad these were. It could be that Apple refreshes the iPad, the iPad mini, and the iPad Air, as the Pro was only recently overhauled.
Apple had previously suggested that the iPhone launch – which commonly includes a segment on next-generation Apple Watches – will be delayed by a few weeks due to the coronavirus pandemic.
But a separate report suggests Apple could host an event on September 10, showing off new iPads and Apple Watches before an October event for the iPhone.
