After announcing record-breaking App Store spending for the 2018 holiday period, Apple have this week also launched its annual Back to University promotion across Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and Brazil, as seen in the United States and Europe.
The promotion offers students and teachers a free pair of Beats Solo3 Wireless Headphones or Powerbeats3 Wireless Earphones with the purchase of any eligible MacBook or iPad Pro. Eligible MacBooks include the Macbook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac Pro and iMac pro. The headphones are also now available at a discounted price.
Both MacBooks and iPad Pro models are available at a discounted education price when purchased through the Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and Brazil educational stores. AppleCare+ protection is also available with any purchased, discounted by 20%.
To receive free or discounted Beats with online purchases, students must simply add an eligible device to their cart, where the option to add the headphones will appear automatically. Any students, parents buying for students, teachers and staff will be eligible. Though it should be remembered the educational discount is available for a limited time only and will end mid-March.
In addition to such discounts, Apple are pushing its trade-in program, allowing older devices to be traded in for credit that can be put towards new devices. Lately, Apple have been heavily promoting the trade-in option for the iPhone Xr and iPhone Xs.
