Today, Apple has seeded the fifth beta of the upcoming iOS 9.3.3 to developers and public beta testers. This could be the last beta of iOS 9.3.3 before it reaches the wider public.
No big changes should be expected in iOS 9.3.3, as it is a minor release with a focus on bug fixes, security enhancements and performance tweaks. MacRumors reports that no “outward-facing changes” have been noticed in the previous four betas.
With iOS 9.3.3 having been in testing since May 23, we might only have to wait another week for the full, public release of the update, which could itself be the last update to iOS 9 before the arrival of iOS 10 in the fall. That would also make it the last ever iOS update to the iPhone 4S, iPad 2, third generation iPad, first generation iPad Mini and fifth generation iPod Touch.
The fifth beta of iOS 9.3.3 is now available for download from the Apple Developer Center or at the Software Update screen on iOS devices on which the relevant configuration profile is installed.
