Apple Reportedly Delays Launch of AR/VR Headset to June

Apple has been working on its AR/VR headset for quite some time now, and according to the latest reports, the launch of the device has been pushed back again. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman recently revealed that the launch of the headset has been delayed by two months, and it is now expected to debut at the Worldwide Developers Conference in June instead of April.

The reason for the delay is said to be related to hardware and software issues that Apple is still working on fixing. This is not the first time that the launch timeline for the headset has been pushed back. Apple initially planned to introduce the device in mid-2022, but the timeline was shifted to January 2023 later in the year, then to April 2023, and now June 2023.

While this delay may come as a disappointment to those who were eagerly waiting for the launch of the headset, it is important to remember that Apple is known for its attention to detail and high-quality products. The company has always prioritized the user experience, and it is likely that the delay is a result of Apple’s commitment to delivering a product that meets its high standards.

The AR/VR headset is expected to be a headline product for Apple this year, and the company is reportedly aiming to have it available for purchase by the end of 2023. The device is said to come with some exciting features, including the ability to control it with both eye movements and hand gestures. Users will be able to select an app with a glance and then activate it with a pinch gesture.

However, the price of the headset is expected to be quite high, with rumors suggesting it could be priced at around $3,000. This price tag could limit its appeal to consumers, and it is possible that the device may be more popular among professionals and businesses.

Despite the high price, it is expected that the AR/VR headset will be a game-changer in the world of augmented and virtual reality. Apple is already said to be working on a second-generation device that will be more affordable and accessible to a wider audience.
