Apple shares trailer for new season of Carpool Karaoke

The "Carpool Karaoke: The Series" trailer logo flaunts neon-style lettering on a blue, starry background. "Carpool" is in cursive pink, while "KARAOKE THE SERIES" is bold and white. The Apple TV icon features prominently in the bottom right corner of the image.

Apple has shown off a trailer for the new season of Carpool Karaoke: The Series.

Posting the trailer on The Late Late Show’s YouTube channel, the video gives us a preview of the third season of the popular show, which is an Apple TV exclusive.

Carpool Karaoke: The Series arrived before the launch of Apple TV+ and was the company’s first venture into offering exclusive content.

First available on Apple Music, the show is now free to watch on the Apple TV app, without an Apple TV+ subscription.

The show is based on the Carpool Karaoke segment from the The Late Late Show With James Corden, which has over the years seen celebrities such as Lady Gaga and Elto John sing popular songs and be interviewed in a car, with Corden on his way to work.

In Apple’s version, Corden does not feature.

Instead, the company puts together musicians with actors, athletes, and other celebrities to sing songs on a car journey.

In the latest season of the show, coming this week, celebrities including Jay Leno, Kesha, and the cast of Stranger Things will perform and chat.

Apple will launch a new episode of Carpool Karaoke: The Series every Thursday for free inside of the Apple TV app on iOS, macOS, Apple TVs, Apple.com/TV and smart streaming sticks.
