Apple is targeting businesses as part of a new advertising campaign.
The Cupertino firm uploaded a humorous new ‘Apple at Work’ video to its YouTube channel, offering an insight into using Apple products – like the Mac, iPad, and Siri – in the office.
The three-minute clip features a number of familiar faces.
The ad’s concept is centered around a design team that has to come up with a new round pizza box prototype, and they use Apple products, like MacBooks, iPads, and iPhones, to get the job done. During the clip, the group creates a spaceship-like pizza box – a design that Apple actually patented in 2017, and gives to employees if they want to take a pizza back to their desks.
Apple shows off a number of popular features in the advert, including Continuity Camera, as well as Hey Siri, multitasking on the iPad, iWork, Apple Pencil, and group FaceTime, which was introduced in iOS 12.
Speaking of the new advert, Apple said:
Apple products help employees work more simply and productively, solve problems creatively, and collaborate with a shared purpose. And they’re all designed to work together beautifully. When people have the power to work the way they want, with the tools they love, they can do their best work and change the future of their business.
Whilst Apple has promoted the iPad and Mac lineups numerous times, this marks the first time the devices have been promoted towards enterprise users, signaling a new direction for the company, constantly diversifying to find ways to generate revenue and tap into new markets.
