Apple TV+ has renewed the critically-acclaimed series Trying for another season.
The third season wraps up this Friday (September 2nd). Ahead of the finale, the company has confirmed a fourth run has been commissioned, which will be welcome news to fans who have been following the show over its three-season arc, which takes viewers on a journey from trying to conceive naturally and then the UK adoption process.
Apple has been ramping up promotion of the series in recent weeks due to its ongoing critical acclaim and growing audience numbers. In the first season, it did not have the same impact as shows like Ted Lasso, but it’s beginning to pick up steam.
The company hasn’t shared any details on what might happen in the fourth season or when it may enter into production. However, we can expect season three to end on a cliff hanger, perhaps as Esther Smith and Rafe Spall’s characters battle with adoption boards.
