Apple TV+ series Trying has been renewed for another season.
The first season premiered last year, and Apple has confirmed that the second season will kick off on May 14, with new episodes dropping every week on the Apple TV+ platform.
The show, produced by BBC Studios, was Apple’s first UK production, and stars Rafe Spall and Esther Smith, following their lives as they go through the adoption process.
Production on the second season was due to kick off in Summer 2020 but was delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Still, the producers managed to pull together a second season and now anticipate shooting a third in 2021, ready to be aired in late 2021 or 2022.
Trying is the latest Apple TV+ to be handed a renewal, as the company begins to flesh out its original content portfolio. The Morning Show, For All Mankind, and Dickinson have all been renewed for another season, helping to cement Apple’s position and drive interest.
