As Apple TV+ gears up for a busy season of new releases, all eyes are on the return of its signature drama The Morning Show, which is slated to resume its episodic storytelling next month. Debuting alongside the streaming service’s initial launch, The Morning Show has remained a cornerstone in Apple TV+’s lineup, largely owing to its celebrity-led ensemble featuring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon. Season 3 is no exception to the rule, as it promises to bring back Billy Crudup in his Emmy-award winning role as network executive Cory Ellison, along with a fresh face in the cast, Jon Hamm, who gained prominence through a previous Apple TV+ advertising campaign.
The third season will air its episodes on Wednesdays, kicking off on September 13 and spanning ten episodes through November 15. Fans will be pleased to know that the show has already secured a green light for a fourth season, though production delays have been encountered because of the ongoing strikes involving writers and actors.
Alongside The Morning Show’s third season, Apple TV+ will also be launching other intriguing titles such as a documentary on Carlos Ghosn, a new horror drama called The Changeling featuring LaKeith Stanfield, and the Sundance film Flora and Son.
