Apple Watch Price Dropped to $299 as New Bands Revealed

As expected, Apple today revealed not a second generation Apple Watch, but instead a number of new bands for the currently available Apple Watch, the price of which has been cut by $50.

The most notable new band announced at Appleโ€™s โ€œLet us loop you inโ€ event in Cupertino today is a Space Black version of the Milanese Loop band. There is also a new line of Nylon bands on offer, while Apple has added new color choices for its Apple Watch Sport band.

Several models of the Apple Watch itself have also received price cuts; 38mm models can now be picked up from $299, while 42mm variants are available at prices starting from $349. While the Apple Watch has already received a number of price cuts from third party retailers, this is the first discount for the wearable that has been applied to stock held by Apple.
