The rollout for the global availability of the Apple Watch is well underway – as, on the same day that the wearable is launched in seven more countries including Italy, Spain and South Korea, it has been noticed that Apple has specified July 17 as when the Netherlands, Sweden and Thailand will also get the device.
Apple has not actually made any formal announcement about the impending launch of the device in these countries, but 9TO5Mac’s Ben Lovejoy has reported the date while citing the Swedish website DN.se and Dutch website iCreate as sources.
It is questionable whether these three countries really will be the only ones getting the Apple Watch on July 17, especially as similar countries in close proximity, like Finland, Denmark and Norway, have not been confirmed. In a further comment under his report, Lovejoy has suggested that more countries could be confirmed for July 17 before Apple make their own announcement.
