Apple Watch to Launch in Seven More Countries This Month

Supply issues that Apple has long experienced with the Apple Watch seem to be finally fading, as the Cupertino giant today announced that the popular wearable will become commercially available in seven further countries – Italy, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland and Taiwan – from June 26.

From that Friday date, however, availability of the Apple Watch will remain limited to the Apple Online Store, Apple’s retail stores and a select number of Apple Authorized Resellers and boutique stores. Jeff Williams, the company’s senior vice president of Operations, has enthused that reception of the Apple Watch “has surpassed our expectations in every way, and we are thrilled to bring it to more customers around the world”.

The boutique stores which will, from late June, have a curated selection of Apple Watch models are 10 Corso Como in Milan, BOONTHESHOP Cheongdam in Seoul and Malmaison by The Hour Glass in Singapore. As it already is in the US and eight other territories, the Apple Watch will, in the seven further countries, be available in three collections – Apple Watch, Apple Watch Sport and luxury Apple Watch Edition.
