Apple’s coveted annual Back to School promotion, previously launched in the U.S., has now been extended to students in Canada and Mexico. The promotional offer, available until October 2, presents an opportunity for college and university students to acquire a free Apple gift card or accessory upon purchasing an eligible Mac or iPad. Alongside the regular educational discount on these products, students can also avail of a 20% discount on AppleCare+ plans for eligible devices.
Canadian students are in for a treat, as Apple is presenting a $200 gift card on the purchase of any new MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, or iMac, and a $150 gift card on purchasing a new iPad Pro, iPad Air, or Mac mini. These gift cards can be redeemed against Apple products and accessories, App Store applications, Apple Music subscriptions, iCloud+ storage services, and more.
In Mexico, Apple is offering third-generation AirPods with any new MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, or iMac, second-generation AirPods with any new Mac mini, and a second-generation Apple Pencil with any new iPad Pro or iPad Air. Furthermore, students have the option to upgrade their AirPods to the second-generation AirPods Pro for an additional cost.
This offer is accessible via Apple’s online education store and physical Apple Store locations to students enrolled in or accepted into higher-education institutions, faculty and staff of higher-education institutions, parents purchasing on behalf of eligible students, employees of K-12 institutions, and selected others. Detailed terms and conditions for the promotion are outlined on Apple’s regional websites for Canada and Mexico.
Apple is expected to launch similar Back to University promotions in the U.K. and other European countries in the upcoming weeks.
