Apple’s annual “Back to School” campaign, a tradition offering discounts and gifts to students and educators purchasing new Macs or iPads, is reportedly set to return this week.

According to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, the campaign will soon be available for customers in the US and Canada.

In previous years, the campaign launched shortly after Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in early June.

Last year, Apple provided a $150 gift card with the purchase of an eligible Mac and a $100 gift card for an iPad. However, this year, Apple has delayed the announcement, leaving the specifics of the 2024 campaign still under wraps.

Historically, the “Back to School” campaign has included perks like free AirPods and discounts on a range of products.

This year’s promotion is expected to highlight Apple’s latest products, such as the M2 iPad Air, M4 iPad Pro, and M3 MacBook Air.

Apple recently revamped its online Education Store, optimizing it for the 2024 “Back to School” season.

The updated store features dedicated sections for each product, simplifying the shopping experience for students and educators. Additionally, it includes an icon indicating which products are eligible for student discounts.

Besides Macs and iPads, accessories like the Apple Studio Display, Apple Pencil, and Magic Keyboard also qualify for discounts.

For those interested, Apple’s online Education Store can be accessed at apple.com/us-edu/store.

Discounts on Macs and iPads are also available through other retailers like Amazon, providing multiple avenues for students and educators to benefit from savings.
