Apple’s Personal Pickup Service Expanded to United Kingdom

The United Kingdom has become the fourth country to get Apple’s Personal Pickup service, where a product can be ordered on the Apple Online Store and later collected at a nearby Apple retail store.

The service is available for a range of Apple items, including iPhones, iPads, Macs and the Apple Watch. Once a user has selected an eligible item for purchase on the Apple website, they can click ‘Check availability’ under ‘Available for pickup:’ before entering their postcode to discern which Apple retail stores are closest and can be chosen for pickup.

Then, once the order is made using the pickup option, Apple will send the buyer an email or text message to indicate that their item can now be collected in-store, provided they show a valid photo ID.

Personal Pickup has long been an option in the US, while the service launched in Canada and Australia earlier this week.
