In the wake of evidence that Apple might not release a fifth generation iPad Mini any time soon, it could be worth looking at the big price cuts that Best Buy is currently applying to the iPad Mini 4, which still comes highly recommended and, in some variants, has been discounted by $325.
Discounts of $125 are, on Best Buy’s website, now on offer for 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB models of the Wi-Fi-only version. This means that the respective prices for these models are now $224.99, $274.99, $324.99 and $374.99. All of these models are available in Space Gray, Silver and Gold color options.
However, Best Buy has even heftier price cuts if you are interested in a cellular iPad Mini 4 with a two-year carrier contract. For example, as we write, there are $225 discounts off various AT&T models, while the discounts reach $325 if you are interested in an iPad Mini 4 on Verizon Wireless.
Though the iPad Mini 4 originally hit retail in September 2015, there remain various good reasons to consider it today – including not only Best Buy’s deals, but also the slate’s slimline design, ease with which it can run iOS 10, and support for in-app and web-based Apple Pay.
